• Al Horford scored eight points on 4-for-8 shooting and managed only three rebounds in Thursday’s 102-135 loss to the Cavs.

He was hounded by the Cavaliers as they were honing in on stopping him tonight. Horford struggled shooting and was bullied by Tristan Thompson and Kevin Love, but his rebounding ability isn’t what the Celtics paid him the big money for. Without Isaiah Thomas it was hard for Horford to generate and create offense as the primary option, but his role with the team is concrete. Expect more of the same from Horford next year, even if they add a few pieces in the summer – Al has shown the ability to produce in a balanced offense.
