Al Horford shot 4-for-13 from the field and 2-for-2 from the line for 10 points, six boards, one assist, two steals and three blocks in the Hawks 93-104 loss on Monday.
It was the same song and dance as Millsap, except to a lesser extent. Horford was victim to the Cavs defense and couldn’t hit one-third of his shots. He made up for it on the defensive end, but it wasn’t enough. Expect him to take turns posting monster lines with Millsap all series long.
Meanwhile, Kyle Korver put up a dud on Monday and cannot be trusted. In 37 minutes, Korver attempted one shot (0-for-1 FGs, 3-for-3 FTs) for three points and five rebounds. For as many minutes as he was on the floor, you would think he would accidentally accumulate more stats. He remained in his corner and didn’t get many looks. This could be a theme. Don’t trust him moving forward.
