Alec Burks continued a strong preseason, scoring 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting while adding six rebounds, three triples and two steals in a 112-101 win over the Suns.
Burks is coming off a lost season last year and has been talking all camp about how he finally feels healthy. That’s usually just talk, but so far he’s been backing it up on the court. The Jazz don’t have a strong bench, at least from an offensive perspective, and an effective Burks would quickly climb the depth chart and become a valuable rotation piece. Deep league owners can speculate away, as there aren’t a ton of guys available late in those monstrous drafts that have Burks’ upside.
