Alex Abrines intends to hone his overall offensive game this summer and to continue to try to make strides as a defender.
Abrines' contract runs through next season, and though he's shown flashes of potential with the Thunder, his health and inconsistency have kept him from thriving. He'll be 25 when next season starts, and there remains a sense that he can do more in the NBA. He's expected to miss the first six to eight weeks of offseason activity after having sports hernia surgery on May 3rd but he’s already anxious to get back to the gym and work on his overall game.
