Alex Abrines underwent a procedure for a sports hernia injury on Thursday and is expected to miss six weeks before returning to offseason activities.
Abrines played in 75 games for the Thunder this season, starting in eight of them. He has settled into a backup wing role through his first two seasons and has put up 1.2 3-pointers per game on a 38% clip. Other than that, Abrines has not shown much and has yet to be a factor in fantasy leagues. The Thunder have a lot of questions for the summer but Abrines will most likely stay in his backup role for next season.
