James Harden posted 40 points (11-of-24 from the field, 11-of-14 from the line), 15 boards, 11 dimes and seven triples in a win against the Hornets on Tuesday.
That makes two 40 point triple-doubles in a row, which only Russell Westbrook, Michael Jordan and Pete Maravich have done. Those are pretty decent basketball players. Tonight’s win also marks the ninth win in a row for the Rockets.
Four players in NBA history with consecutive 40-pt triple doubles: Harden, Westbrook, Jordan & Maravich. One has been MVP. Might soon be 2
