• Allonzo Trier
    G, New York Knicks

Allonzo Trier was once again one of the best Knicks on the floor, going for 18 points (7-for-11 shooting), two rebounds, four assists, two steals and a 3-pointer in Monday's 98-110 loss to the Wizards.

Trier drew praise from David Fizdale at the end of training camp and has kept that momentum rolling into preseason. The Knicks don't have much in the way of imposing depth and really can't afford to bench Trier for anyone else right now — he's simply been better than his competitors. It's unlikely that he becomes a serious fantasy asset but owners in 20-teamers should at least take the time to know who Trier is and keep an eye on the early-season rotations.
