Amar’e Stoudemire scored six points (2-for-3 FGs, 2-for-2 FTs) with three rebounds and one steal in 12 minutes in the Heat’s 94-87 victory over the Raptors in overtime on Monday.
Amar’e continues to be a starter in name and should only be in your fantasy wine bath lineups. Stay away. The Heat played Luol Deng for 42 minutes (nine points, nine rebounds, two assists and two steals) and Josh McRoberts for 20 minutes (two points, two boards, one assist and two blocks) in their small ball lineups. With the injury to Hassan Whiteside (knee), expect the Heat to use a combination of their forwards and their bench to mask their center position. The combo of Stoudemire, Deng, McBob and Udonis Haslem (five boards and one assist in 10 minutes) will constantly rotate. Deng is the only one that can be trusted.
