It’ll be Amir Johnson who jumps into the starting five on Monday in place of Joel Embiid (rest), per Brian Seltzer of Sixers.com.
While Johnson gets the start, and can actually be a subtle fantasy contributor in appropriate minutes, it’s Richaun Holmes who is the preferred play. He’ll be getting minutes tonight no matter what and has done nothing but impress in his limited run thus far. The team knows what he’s capable of after a nice second half last year and should slowly hand him more minutes as he outperforms his competition. Holmes is worth picking up for his upside while Johnson is a deep league play or streaming option in the very short-term.
