Andre Drummond scored 18 points on 8-of-12 shooting with 15 rebounds and one steal over just 24 minutes in the Pistons’ 111-91 blowout win over the Lakers on Sunday.
Drummond is having a mid-round season more along the lines of last season than the breakout in the year before. His field goal percentage needs to look a lot more like tonight’s version than the 52.2 percent he is shooting on the season, and his 7.5 free throws per game is destroying his value. Otherwise, his defensive numbers are a bit out of control in the steals department with 1.9 per game and just half that the year before. If he doesn’t get the field goal percentage figured out he won’t have standalone value in Roto leagues, and his value proposition in head-to-head formats gets altered as well.
