Andre Drummond had surgery to repair a nose injury he suffered back in college and may have to don a mask next season.
He suffered the injury back in his UConn days and has been playing with his left nostril being slightly closed. Coach Stan Van Gundy and Drummond believe that this surgery will help with his breathing problems. His first year after signing a max deal with the Pistons was a bit of a letdown as he saw his points, rebounds, and blocks all decrease. He’s still only 23 years old and will look forward to having a bounce back year, however his only use remains in head to head leagues on teams that punt free throws.
