Andre Drummond scored 24 points on 5-of-7 shooting with 15 rebounds and two blocks, but the real story is his 14-of-16 conversion rate at the charity stripe on Friday.
Drummond is well known as a double-double machine, but his downfall has always been an absolutely atrocious free throw percentage well below 50 the percent mark. He is now hovering around the 79 percent mark from the line on 36 attempts this season, which moves him well out of punt territory and into the top-20 in 9-cat rankings overall. This is still a small sample size, so there is plenty of time for his free throw shooting to regress back to the mean, but owners have to thrilled with this massively positive progression in his game to this point.
