Andre Iguodala will play in Saturday’s Game 3 while Mike Brown expects to start JaVale McGee at center, per Anthony Slater of the San Jose Mercury News.
Iguodala was listed as probable and should be good to go, with no expected minutes cap. He’s expected to take minutes from Patrick McCaw, Ian Clark and Matt Barnes though the blowout nature of Game 2 makes it hard to read too much into the rotation. To wit, Shaun Livingston played 23 minutes after Iguodala went down in Game 1 and figured to play a prominent role but played just 13 in Game 2. As for McGee, he should see minutes in the mid-teens and could be a cheap double-double threat for those in fantasy games. Coach Brown said they wouldn’t start McGee if the Spurs went small with their starting group, but it’s unlikely that San Antonio deviates from their usual post-Kawhi looks.
