Looking ahead to the NBA playoffs, of all the matchups, the Thunder-Rockets is perhaps the most intriguing, and defensive specialist Andre Roberson figures to play a key role in that series.
Roberson has emerged as a key defensive specialist for the Thunder this year. From a fantasy perspective, he’s been an absolute fiend when it comes to steals and blocks, averaging 1.4 steals and 1.2 blocks in his last 13 games. Over the past month, he’s producing top-90 value, mostly due to his contributions on the defensive side. While Russell Westbrook gets all the press because of his historical season, Andre Roberson holds the key to the Thunder’s chances against James Harden and the Rockets.
Important note for Thunder/Rockets: James Harden shot 31% from the field and 15% from 3 vs. OKC with Roberson on the floor this year.
