Andrew Wiggins dropped 27 points on the Suns on Saturday night but didn’t do much else, picking up one rebound, two steals and one 3-pointer in 38 minutes of action.
To be fair to Wiggins, he did shoot 10-of-22 from the field and 6-of-7 from the line. Still, it’s hard to imagine someone spending 38 minutes on the court and not lucking into more than one rebound or a single assist. Given his one-dimensional fantasy game, owners are basically counting on Wiggins to outscore and out-steal his other issues. To this point, he’s outside the top-175 because he’s shooting a woeful .625 from the free throw line. That’ll improve, as it did tonight, but it’s not like Wiggins will start corralling the other stats overnight. He was overdrafted yet again.
