Andrew Wiggins scored 21 points in the Wolves’ season finale, adding two boards, three assists, one steal, two 3-pointers and four turnovers against the Rockets.
Wiggins played all 82 games this season, taking significant steps forward as a player on his way to averaging 23.6 points, 1.3 treys, four boards and 2.3 assists per contest. Unfortunately for his fantasy outlook, however, he simply didn’t do enough outside of scoring to live up to his draft day hype. Despite going as early as the third or fourth round he struggled to return top-120 value on the season. There’s no doubt in our minds that Wiggins will continue to grow on the court, but we’re still waiting to see him produce above average numbers in any of the cash counting categories.
