Andrew Wiggins scored 21 points and hit two threes but didn’t add much else in Sunday’s loss to the Warriors.
He shot an efficient 9-for-13 from the field, 1-for-2 from the line, and hit 2-for-4 from deep. Wiggins added one assist and one turnover in an empty line. Stat lines like this are why we think Wiggins is overvalued and generally drafted far too ahead of his ADP. The Wolves are expecting Jimmy Butler to mentor Wiggins, specifically on the defensive side, but until we see results, it’s hard to see him sniffing top-50 value which is where he’s being drafted currently.
