Andrew Wiggins scored 13 points and added eight rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in the Wolves’ Game 2 loss to the Rockets on Wednesday night.
Wiggins’ final line may not be impressive but he deserves credit for pushing the issue more than any of his teammates. Wiggins never stopped going for it, shooting 6-for-14 from the floor. He was the only player from the Wolves to take more than nine shots. Minnesota’s other stars were non-existent. KAT shot 2-for-9 and scored only five points while Jimmy Butler went 3-for-6 to finish with 11 points. It may sound strange but the Wolves need Wiggins to be their third best player in order to make this a series.
