Anthony Davis scored a team high 27 points in Wednesday’s 120-112 loss to the Heat.
He showed no signs of being bothered by the left ankle he tweaked in Tuesday’s game, and was able to add eight boards, one assist, three steals and three blocks to his line. The Brow looked as springy as ever patrolling the paint, and continues to produce elite numbers despite being paired next to DeMarcus Cousins. The Pelicans have fallen out of serious contention for the eight seed out West but will likely use all of their remaining games to determine how well their current roster fits together, making an AD shutdown significantly less likely.
