Anthony Davis put together a nice all-around game on Wednesday night with 19 points, six rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks in the Pelicans’ 101-96 win over the Hornets.
One interesting development over the last week from Davis is that, beyond his usual awesome stats, he hasn’t taken a 3-pointer in the Pels’ last four games. He had a similar stretch in late November where he only took two in a five-game span and then returned to taking two per game. Obviously, Davis doesn’t rely on 3-point shooting in the first place and does more than his fair share in every other category. But this will be something to watch as he focuses more on driving to the rim. Perhaps this could mean even more 3-point attempts from DeMarcus Cousins.
