Anthony Davis predictably dominated the Cavs on Wednesday night, leading the Pelicans to a 140-124 win with 38 points, 13 rebounds, seven assists, two steals, four blocks and a 3-pointer.
Davis went 11-of-17 from the field and hit 15-of-16 at the charity stripe to cap off another huge performance. AD went 12-of-13 from the free throw line in the third quarter alone, setting a new franchise record for both makes and attempts in a single frame. Nights like this make it hard to have sympathy for owners who complain about his mid-game locker room trips. He's going to be tough to unseat as fantasy's top player and may still find another gear with the Pelicans on the outside looking in on the playoff bracket.
