Antonio Blakeney scored 15 points on 6-of-12 shooting with two rebounds and an assist in 18 minutes on Tuesday in a loss the Lakers.
You may have had to Google him to know that this wasn’t an early April fool’s joke, but this is his fourth game in a row receiving relevant rotation minutes for Bulls. Blakeney went undrafted this year, but lit it up in Summer League, scoring close to 17 points per game with five rebounds but not much else. He demonstrated the same scoring prowess tonight that turned heads in Summer League, but isn’t worth more than watch list consideration outside of extremely deep leagues due to his stat set limitations and the imminent return of David Nwaba. It is also worth noting that he put up almost all of his numbers in the first half of the game, and was a non-factor the rest of the way.
