• Anzejs Pasecniks
    C, Washington Wizards

Anzejs Pasecniks made his NBA debut in Wednesday's 109-110 loss to the Bulls, finishing with nine points, eight rebounds, an assist and two turnovers in 28 minutes.

The 7'1" Pasecniks was taken with the 25th pick in the 2017 draft, and played the majority of the center minutes in his first NBA game. The Wizards are without any real options in the middle outside him and Ian Mahimi (eight points, six rebounds, three blocks, 24 min), and if he is seeing this amount of burn he could fall into enough rebounds to make himself somewhat useful in 20-team settings. The Wizards were granted a disabled player exception for C.J Miles a day ago, so some relief in the form of another big body could be coming soon. For now though, Pasecniks has a spot in the rotation purely out of necessity.
