Austin Rivers will opt into his $12 million option for next season.
Rivers dealt with some injury troubles last year but was effective overall, especially when pressed into more responsibility after the Clippers were crushed by backcourt injuries. With the team reportedly set to move on from Milos Teodosic, it's likely that Rivers will function as a floor-spacing combo guard and the team's primary backup point guard, though that could change depending on how the draft goes tonight. His stat set and role should be good for late-round value even if he's not an exciting player to own in fantasy.
