Austin Rivers scored 16 points (two threes) to go with five dimes and a single turnover in Friday’s win.
Not bad for guy that missed 18 games with an ankle injury. Rivers started the game for a Milos Teodosic (foot), who keeps missing games due to injury. Rivers’ upside is limited with Avery Bradley also in town, but he should be able to carve out low-end value if you need guard stats and can stomach his bad shooting. For his part, Bradley had 10 points and eights boards, but didn’t add a steal or a three, which is not what you want to see from a 3 & D guy. Actually, he hasn’t hit a three in the three games he’s been with the Clipper, though he has been playing a bit better. Bradley owners should grab Rivers if he’s available.
