October 24, 2018, 1:32 amAvery BradleyG, Los Angeles Clippers
Avery Bradley hit just 1-of-8 shots for two points and two rebounds over 29 minutes in Tuesday's loss to the Pelicans.
Yeah, Jrue Holiday plays for the other team but Bradley has been struggling for a while and he's only a deep league asset in fantasy leagues.
October 16, 2019, 10:18 amJaylen AdamsPG, Milwaukee Bucks
The Bucks requested waivers on guard Jaylen Adams and forward Luke Maye on Monday.
Signed as a free agent on August 20th, Adams appeared in two games for the Bucks this preseason and averaged 4.5 points and 3.0 rebounds in 13.0 minutes per game. Meanwhile, Maye, undrafted out of the University of North Carolina, appeared in three games and averaged just 2.3 points and 1.3 rebounds in 5.8 minutes per game.
October 16, 2019, 9:50 amDennis Smith Jr.PG, New York Knicks
Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, David Fizdale said that the next two games will be 'huge' in determining his opening night starter at point guard.
Frank Ntilikina is competing with Dennis Smith Jr. and Elfrid Payton but no one seems to have the edge right now. DSJ will play on Wednesday night against the Hawks, after missing the first two preseason games with a back strain, and he will get the chance to impress his coach. Fizdale also mentioned that he wants to put the ball to RJ Barrett’s hands, while he sees Julius Randle and Marcus Morris as potential non-point guard ball-handlers in his offense, so this is definitely a situation to avoid for now.
October 16, 2019, 9:28 amGrayson AllenSG, Memphis Grizzlies
Grayson Allen has helped himself since joining the Grizzlies and he seems like a sure thing to be in the opening night rotation, and just maybe in the starting lineup.
If the development of Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. is the most important item on the Grizzlies’ agenda during this season, a secondary goal will be finding this duo some running mates. On their expanded 17-man roster, the Grizzlies have seven wing players who are each under age 25, with none of them established as quality contributors. Preseason has generally gone pretty well for Allen, but the key for him above all else will probably be his 3-point shooting, where his high-volume style fits the coaching staff’s “let it fly” mantra. One thing is certain, there will be plenty of minutes available for the young core in Memphis this year and it remains to be seen who emerges with fantasy value.

October 16, 2019, 9:08 amBogdan BogdanovicSG, Sacramento Kings
Kings guard Bogdan Bogdanovic told the Sacramento Bee that the team has offered him a maximum contract extension, but he is in no hurry to sign it.
Bogdanovic added that he would prefer to remain in Sacramento, but he could receive more lucrative offers if he waits to become a restricted free agent this summer. The Kings and Bogdanovic can come to an agreement anytime between now and June 30th, but he is eligible only for a $51.4 million extension because he signed a three-year, $27 million contract with the Kings in 2017. His ability to stretch the floor is vital to the uptempo offense most NBA teams run these days, and he is coming off a breakout performance at the 2019 FIBA World Cup, so it make sense for him to wait until he hits the open market next year, in what looks to be a week free agent class.

October 16, 2019, 8:56 amSindarius ThornwellSG, Cleveland Cavaliers
The Cavs have waived guard Daniel Hamilton, forward Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot, guard J.P. Macura and guard Sindarius Thornwell, General Manager Koby Altman announced on Tuesday.
The Cavs are loaded with guards so it makes sense to release all the above. Cleveland’s roster now stands at 16, including Dean Wade, who is on a two-way deal.
October 16, 2019, 8:42 amThomas RobinsonC-F, Free Agent
Thomas Robinson has reached an agreement with the Sichuan Blue Whales where he will replace Maciej Lampe, according to Emiliano Carchia of Sportando.
Robinson played with the Spurs in the Summer League but he couldn’t materialize his performance into a training camp deal and he will head back overseas. The No. 5 overall pick by the Kings in the 2012 NBA draft, he averaged 21.9 points and 13.6 rebounds playing in China last year.
October 16, 2019, 8:29 amNorense Odiase, Phoenix Suns
The Suns have waived guard David Kramer, center Norense Odiase and forward Tariq Owens, the team announced in a news release on Tuesday.
All three players were in training camp on Exhibit 10 deals, meaning they very well could be headed to the Northern Arizona Suns of the G League. The Suns’ roster now stands at 16 players, with at least one more move needed before the regular season.
October 15, 2019, 11:57 pmRJ BarrettSF, New York Knicks
In an interview with David Fizdale, the coach mentioned that he would sprinkle in some point guard time for RJ Barrett due to his comfort with the ball in his hands.
Barrett handled the ball plenty at Duke and his 4.3 assists per game show he had some success (though his 3.2 turnovers show he has room for improvement). The Knicks have plenty of rotation players that will handle the ball in Elfrid Payton, Dennis Smith Jr. and Julius Randle, but this year should be all about developing their young players. Barrett should have nice assist numbers for a wing you can draft in the late rounds.

October 15, 2019, 11:44 pmDoug McDermottSF, Indiana Pacers
Doug McDermott sank four treys on his way to 14 points (5-for-10 FGs) in a loss to the Wolves on Tuesday.
McDermott is a 3-point streamer and not much else these days. He provides very little else, especially now that he's likely to get under 20 minutes per game for the second season.
October 15, 2019, 11:37 pmAaron HolidayPG, Indiana Pacers
Aaron Holiday (upper respiratory infection) returned to the court on Tuesday against the Wolves, scoring nine points and dishing out four assists in 17 minutes off the bench.
Fellow point guard T.J. McConnell (10 points and eight assists in 20 minutes tonight) has been soaking up enough of the point-guard minutes, that Holiday's role isn't simply the full-time backup point guard that many fantasy players hoped. Edmond Sumner (upper respiratory infection) also played after previously being listed as questionable. Sumner had 11 points and four assists in 26 minutes off the bench.
