Avery Bradley was fairly quiet despite 20 points on Wednesday, contributing three 3-pointers, one rebound, two assists and a steal.
Bradley also shot just 5-of-13 and picked up seven points at the free throw line. As we feared in the offseason, a move to Detroit has sapped a lot of his rebounding potential, which is what carried him to an impressive year in his last campaign with the Celtics. He’s still a solid middle-round player thanks to more scoring responsibility but he was often drafted with upside in mind. If you were able to wait on Bradley then things are looking fine, whereas those who reached are probably a little bit disappointed so far.
