Ben McLemore hits two triples in his Rockets debut

Ben McLemore scored six points on 2-of-5 shooting with two triples and an assist on Thursday.

McLemore's 14 minutes were due to Gerald Green (foot) missing extended time, but there isn't much fantasy juice here to squeeze unless you're desperate for triples.

Dion Waiters

Dion Waiters (sore left groin) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Wednesday's Finals opener.

Waiters has not played since Game 2 of the second round against Houston but was elevated to questionable by Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals. He'll offer up some emergency guard depth for the Lakers but is unlikely to be a prominent part of the rotation.

Gabe Vincent
PG, Miami Heat

Gabe Vincent (right knee soreness) and Chris Silva (left pubic bone fracture) have been listed as questionable for Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday.

Both players have been battling injuries and while this news indicates they are getting closer to a return, neither figure to feature in the rotation, even when healthy.

LeBron James

LeBron James (sore right groin), Alex Caruso (sore right wrist) and Danny Green (left volar plate injury) are all probable for Wednesday’s matchup against the Heat.

As per usual, this is just the Lakers erring on the side of caution when it comes to injury reporting. All three players are tracking towards being available for the game and based on recent history, there should be no limitations in terms of playing time. The Lakers are back in the NBA Finals for the first time since 2010 and will head into Game 1 as the favorites to take their 17th NBA Championship.

Anthony Davis

Anthony Davis (right heel contusion) has been listed as probable to face the Heat in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday.

While the probable tag is nothing new for Davis, the injury appears to be different from that which had him questionable only four days earlier. His previous concern was in relation to a sprained left ankle, suffered during Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals. While this is a new injury, there is very little doubt he will play on Wednesday and barring any major setbacks, he should be good to go.

Jovan Buha of The Athletic is reporting that Tyronn Lue is a candidate in the Clippers' coaching search.

Lue was an assistant with LA last season and is already said to be a candidate for other gigs around the league, namely Philadelphia. ESPN previously reported that analyst Jeff Van Gundy is in the mix as well, and he's been connected to the Rockets. Monday's surprising dismissal of Doc Rivers was said to have been the result of several things building up over the years rather than this past season's disappointing finish, and the team is looking for a high-level thinker who "values progress and innovation," as well as someone who can better develop young players and uphold an identity built on toughness and grit.
