• Ben McLemore
    SG, Houston Rockets

Ben McLemore drew the start at shooting guard on Friday morning, posting nine points on 3-of-5 shooting (all threes) and a steal in 22 minutes.

McLemore got the nod with Russell Westbrook and Danuel House both sitting this game out. In the past the Rockets have called upon Gerald Green to fill in at shooting guard when necessary, so that could be a lower-level battle to keep an eye on throughout the preseason. McLemore is unlikely to have much fantasy value — even in deep leagues — but stranger things have happened. Rookie Chris Clemons, who chipped in 15 points, four rebounds, three assists, two steals and three triples, could also force his way into the mix.
