Ben McLemore was the lone bright spot for the Kings in Wednesday’s 112-82 loss, scoring 22 points on 9-of-12 shooting.
The Jazz were up 20 after one quarter and actually gave back a lot of the lead before putting them away for good with a 34-15 final frame. McLemore was the hot hand early on, dropping 17 points before halftime. He slowed down and scored only five points on four shots after the break, adding four rebounds and an assist. McLemore had a little extra room to operate tonight with Arron Afflalo and Garrett Temple sidelined and we don’t expect him to put up nights like this with either player active. He’s fine to add to your watch list but anything past that is uncharted waters.
