Blake Griffin scored a team-high 20 points in Wednesday’s 109-104 win, adding 12 rebounds, four assists and a steal in L.A.’s sixth consecutive win.
That’s two straight with 20-plus for Blake, who appears to be 100 percent after missing a few games with a concussion earlier in the year. In his last four, he’s averaging 19.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.0 triples and is solidifying himself as a middle-round player on the season. It’s a far cry from his ADP, but Griffin doesn’t bring enough defensive stats to the table and commits too many turnovers to crack the early rounds. He’ll get lots of popcorn stats but his obvious deficiencies were enough for us (and hopefully you) to fade him a bit in draft season. Griffin has been fine this season but simply hasn’t, and won’t, live up to his early-third round ADP.
