Blake Griffin scored 19 points (one triple) and added eight boards, six dimes and a block in Friday’s frustrating 108-95 loss to the Clippers.
The Pistons were close until the fourth quarter which the Clippers just dominated. This is the first game the Pistons have lost since Blake joined them, and he can’t be happy it was against his former team. Owners aren’t too upset as he’s put up 21.0 points, 1.4 threes, 7.8 boards and 6.8 assists in the five games he’s been a Piston. His shooting has been a bit down, but that’s to be expected as he learns Stan Van Gundy’s sets and gels with his new teammates. He’s looking good to close the season as long as he can remain healthy.
