Blake Griffin scored 23 points on 8-of-25 shooting to go with 12 rebounds, five assists, two steals, one block, one turnover and two 3-pointers as the Clippers lost in overtime to the Cavs on Friday night.
In his last five games, Griffin is shooting 33 percent from the floor. Five games is a relatively small sample size. However, 109 shot attempts definitely isn’t and that’s how many shots Blake has taken in the last five games. Blake’s crazy volume has come about due to the Clippers’ tremendous lack of depth currently. If you avoid the percentages, Blake is scoring at a solid rate and he’s making plenty of 3s, hitting at least one in every game this year. Plus, Griffin has at least five assists in each of his last five games.
