Blake Griffin made his preseason debut in a 108-110 loss to the Nets on Monday, posting 17 points, nine rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers in 21 minutes.
Griffin went 6-of-14 from the field and was working on a minutes limit tonight, but it was good to see him active in his stint on the court. He'll be a middle-round, per-game player for his output in points, rebounds and assists but the boards and steals took a dip once he joined the Pistons last season, and that's on top of a declining block rate and more play away from the rim as his range expands. Griffin's a good points league play but stands to be overvalued in category-based formats.
