• Anfernee Simons
    G, Portland Trail Blazers

The Blazers selected Anfernee Simons with the 24th pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.

Simons is a combo guard who can score well from the perimeter and shot decent percentages from the floor and the line. Even though he is a combo guard and lacks the height of most shooting guards, he also doesn't have the passing acumen to be a reliable point guard option off the bench. Playing a year at IMG Academy rather than take the NCAA route, Simons is one of the youngest players in the class and will need some time to develop. Unfortunately for his value he will sit behind one of the best backcourt duos in the NBA in Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum. For the time being it's very unlikely that he makes an impact on the court.
