Brad Stevens said Thursday that Shane Larkin is "progressing well, but is not anywhere close to playing."
Larkin played just two minutes in Game 4 of the Philadelphia series and has not played since – which is also partially due to not diving for a loose ball that made Stevens mad. The Celtics are doing just fine without Larkin in the rotation but any depth in the playoffs is always better. His minutes have been absorbed by Terry Rozier, Marcus Smart and Jaylen Brown and they do not seem to be slowing down at all right now. Boston has had a large difference in their play at home and on the road and another guard could help them but do not expect Larkin to play meaningful minutes anytime soon.
