Bradley Beal scored 22 points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals on 9-of-21 shooting from the field and 2-of-11 shooting from behind the arc in 39 minutes in the Wizards 107-114 game 1 win over the Hawks.
Beal went cold tonight but both him and John Wall played big minutes in this game, and if the Wizards are going to have success they’re going to have to keep one of them on the floor at all times. He had an off shooting night and the Wizards still won, so imagine if his shot would’ve been falling. He shot .404 percent from behind the arc in the regular season so this game he just wasn’t feeling it. Beal should be in for a monster first round, just like his backcourt buddy John Wall.
