Bradley Beal didn’t need to go supernova on Friday night, using his modest 29 minutes to post 16 points, four rebounds, seven assists and a pair of triples.
The Wizards were able to rest their starters for most of the fourth which helps explain the muted production. It’s not bad work by any means, but a closer game might’ve resulted in one of the Beal lines that have delighted owners since John Wall hit the shelf. There’s not much to worry about here, as Beal should continue to roll even after Wall returns. He was joined in the solid-but-not-spectacular category by Markieff Morris, who posted 17 points, six rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block.
