Bradley Beal scored 22 points on 8-of-27 shooting with two 3-pointers, three rebounds, 11 assists, three steals and a block in Sunday’s 95-98 loss to the Pacers.
Beal’s 11 assists tonight tied a career-high and he’s been a great distributor for the Wizards without John Wall. Over the past month, he’s averaging 7.0 assists which shows that he can be a playmaker for others, but his shooting has gone way down over the past week, hitting only 36.4 percent of his shots. Beal is too good of a shooter to see this as a trend though, so we expect him to pick it back up. Part of his struggles may be attributed to exhaustion though, as he’s averaging 38.4 minutes over his recent shooting slump.
