Bradley Beal was dreadful in Wednesday’s loss, shooting 3-for-15 against the Warriors to finish with eight points, four rebounds, five assists, two threes and a steal in 37 minutes of work.
While the peripheral stats were nice this overall performance just isn’t going to cut it. The Wizards put some nice charges together in the second and fourth quarters after the Warriors built big leads in the first and third and even a mediocre night from Beal might’ve changed things dramatically. Still, he’s been nothing short of elite all season and has turned on the jets since John Wall went down so one bad night is a forgivable offense here. The Wizards have a date with the Conference-leading Raptors on Friday, and Beal should be fired up and in top form for that one.
