Bradley Beal scored 14 points on 5-for-11 shooting and 1-for-6 from deep on Monday.
Beal added seven boards and seven assists to his line and went 3-for-3 at the line. He’s averaging 1.9 3s on the year which is down from his 2.9 last season, but his scoring is up due to the increase in free throw attempts. Beal is having an amazing year scoring the ball, shooting 49.3 percent from the field and he came into this game 11th in the league in points per game. Last season he attempted 7.2 3s and that number is down to 5.3 this year. His efficiency is still there, hitting 37.5 percent from deep and the increased free throw volume is making up the value lost in 3s.
