• Per Sixers beat writer Sarah Todmann, coach Brett Brown said that Jahlil Okafor is completely out of the rotation right now and that the backup center spot belongs to Amir Johnson.

It’s no surprise given the amount of DNP-CDs that Okafor has racked up, but we now know that he won’t be climbing back into the mix any time soon. Johnson can provide steady play and set terrific screens, which provides much more on-court value than Okafor’s hollow scoring game. This won’t help his already negligible trade value either, so it could be a very long year in Philly for the former top pick. Needless to say, Big Jah is not worth owning outside of the deepest of the deep leagues while Johnson could hold some low-end appeal in larger formats.
