Brook Lopez put-up 25 points, two assists, seven boards, one block on 10-of-21 from the field, 1-of-6 from deep and 4-of-4 from the tripe against the Celtics on Monday.
Lopez finished the season as a top-35 asset and played in 74 games. The big man was given the label “injury prone” after missing two out of three seasons during 2011-2014. However, over the last three years he has played in at least 72 games a year. So owners need not be afraid to draft the eight-year pro next season for health reasons. It will be interesting though to see what the Nets do during the offseason as Lopez is under contract for one more year at 22 1/2 million. If he is traded then understudy Justin Hamilton would get a chance to take up his mantle. The former Cardinal does have one more game on Wednesday against the Bulls.
