Brook Lopez played 33 minutes in a 120-118 win against the Hornets on Monday, finishing with 21 points (8-of-13 from the field, 4-of-4 from the line), one 3-pointer, five boards, five assists, three blocks and two turnovers.
BroLo was great tonight with his shooting efficiency and strong contributions across the board. The five rebounds were a little low, but his owners should know by now that for being a 7-footer he’s really not that great on the glass. In his last six games, Lopez is a top-15 player on averages of 21.5 points, 6.3 boards, 1.5 treys, 2.8 blocks, 51.1% shooting from the field and 86.7% from the line. His rest-of-season outlook isn’t as pretty as those averages so maybe it’s time to think about selling high on the big man. Anyone with a top-20 rest-of-season outlook is fair game.
