Brook Lopez finished Friday’s loss with 13 points, five rebounds, three blocks and a steal in 24 minutes of action.
Lopez simply needs to get more than 24 minutes if the Lakers are actually trying to win games. He wasn’t in foul trouble and it’s surprising that the Lakers went away from him after he was having his way with Toronto defenders in the first half. He was more or less invisible after halftime, and what started out as a promising night ended with a whimper. BroLo should be good for top-50 numbers on the year but has now played 24 minutes or less in three straight games. Keep an eye on that.
