When asked if he plans to use Josh Richardson as the team's primary backup PG, Brett Brown deffered to preferring a more traditional approach with Raul Neto and Trey Burke.
"My intention is to see what comes out of Raul and Trey, and look at that as a legitimate backup point guard thing,” said Brown. “I feel like incrementally to drip-feed Josh into the point guard role with the possibility that he could be that in the playoffs." Backup PG minutes have been the most contested thus far in Sixers camp. Though we should expect one of those two backup guards to play there to start the year, it sounds like Brown isn't afraid to go with Richardson in that spot too. Regardless, Richardson should have a hefty role as this team's primary perimeter defender, and is worth heavy consideration in the middle rounds of fantasy drafts.
