April 11, 2019, 1:07 amBruce BrownG, Detroit Pistons
Bruce Brown tallied six points on 1-of-3 shooting from the field and 4-of-4 shooting from the line, adding four rebounds, one steal and one block in 25 minutes on Wednesday.
Despite sliding into the starting lineup late in the season, the rookie failed to impress without any eye-opening breakout games. Still, the takeaway here is that he's got the coach's trust and an inside track to be one of the developmental priorities of the franchise moving forward. He finishes with per-game values in the 340 value range in 8/9-cat with averages of 4.3 points, 2.5 rebounds in 19.5 minutes per game.
October 16, 2019, 9:24 pmMiles BridgesSF, Charlotte Hornets
Miles Bridges went to the locker room early on Wednesday holding a towel pressed to his face.
There has been no word on what exactly happened to him, and it appears unlikely that he will return. We expect to have an update on his status moving forward soon.

October 16, 2019, 9:19 pmCory JosephPG, Sacramento Kings
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Cory Joseph (sore calf) says that he's feeling better and expects to be ready for the Kings' season opener.
Joseph had been dealing with both the calf injury and an illness that apperently has been going around the Kings' locker room. It still seems like he won't get in on preseason action, putting him a tad behind on meshing with his new team. He should really only be a backup PG this year and holds no fantasy value.

October 16, 2019, 9:09 pmStephen CurryPG, Golden State Warriors
Stephen Curry (rest) will not play in Wednesday's preseason tilt against the Lakers.
No surpises here, as it was reported on Monday that he was likely to sit this one out. Jacob Evans wll get the start, and should actually see decent time handling the ball playing next to D'Angelo Russell.

October 16, 2019, 8:48 pmSteven AdamsC, Oklahoma City Thunder
Steven Adams returned to game action on Wednesday after tweaking his elbow.
It was originally reported that he tweaked his shoulder but turns out it didn't really matter either way. It doesn't matter how banged up he gets, Adams will always find his way back onto the court. Nerlens Noel fans can take a seat for now.

Steven Adams appeared to tweak his shoulder and went to the locker room during a timeout in Wednesday's preseason game aganst the Grizzlies.
We'll provide updates to this situation as it develops. Adams is an iron man so it's quite possible this is all just precautionary. Should he miss time though, Nerlens Noel becomes a very intriguing name that teams should consider in standard league formats.

October 16, 2019, 8:14 pmEric BledsoePG, Milwaukee Bucks
Eric Bledsoe (ribs) went through non-contact drills during practice on Wednesday.
Bledsoe was slapped with a two to three week timetable for his fractured rib cartilage just five days ago, so his quickness in jumping back into practice activities raise some optimism that he can get back on the earlier side of that diagnosis. Bledsoe has potential as a safe pick in a hot market for point guards this season. Owners shouldn't let this injury steer them away from taking him in drafts.

October 16, 2019, 8:02 pmTerrance FergusonSG, Oklahoma City Thunder
Terrance Ferguson will miss Wednesday's preseason game against the Grizzlies following an auto accident he was involved in on his way to the arena.
Ferguson is reported to be fine and the team says he suffered no injuries, so it sounds like he's, if anything, just a bit shaken up. Darius Bazley should get an extended look in this one.

October 16, 2019, 7:07 pmKevin HuerterSG, Atlanta Hawks
Kevin Huerter (right knee) had a setback over the weekend that has forced him to miss Wednesday's game vs. the Knicks.
This is concerning news for those who drafted Huerter around pick-110 in redraft leagues as he has yet to make his preseason debut. For those of you who haven't drafted, it is plausible to drop Huerter down a round or two with this news. Unlike most other injuries that occur in the preseason, this one seems like it is worth monitoring as we inch closer towards opening night. If Huerter does end up missing time, expect rookies Cam Reddish and De'Andre Hunter to play more minutes.

October 16, 2019, 6:59 pmTyson ChandlerC, Houston Rockets
Tyson Chandler (rest) will not play in Wednesday's matchup against the Spurs.
Chandler will have another opportunity to take the court in the Rockets' preseason finale against the Heat on Friday. Chandler, 37, has not been on the fantasy radar in a few seasons and will not re-emerge on the scene this season. On select nights, he will be a low-cost option in DFS contests when the Rockets are without Clint Capela.

October 16, 2019, 6:54 pmReggie JacksonPG, Detroit Pistons
Reggie Jackson is dealing with some lower back tightness that will ultimately hold him out of Wednesday's preseason game vs. the Hornets.
Jackson's absence shouldn't come as a surprise as the team is gearing up for the regular season. Jackson has solidified himself as the starting point guard with Derrick Rose as the primary back-up. Jackson could be taken with one of the last picks of standard redraft leagues as he has a relatively safe floor without much upside.
