• C.J. McCollum
    SG, Portland Trail Blazers

C.J. McCollum scored 22 points on 9-of-16 shooting with two triples, a rebound, three assists and a steal on Thursday against the Pelicans.

McCollum was the only Blazer to really have anything going on offense and he had to work extremely hard for all of his shots. He had some circus shots and nice and-1s, but the Blazers were constantly down by double digits which meant none of McCollum’s buckets were momentum changers. Every time the Blazers got on a run, the Pelicans would call timeout and immediately put it out. With the way Damian Lillard and the rest of the supporting cast has been playing, McCollum has to put up numbers far better than his averages if the Blazers are going to take a game away from the Pelicans.
