C.J. Miles scored all 12 of his points in a two-minute span in the fourth quarter of Tuesday’s win, hitting three triples while hitting three more free throws after being fouled on a 3-point attempt.
Miles hit a deep one at the end of the clock that woke him up and the next three possessions ended with three more points. He played 19 minutes overall but was relatively invisible outside of his incredible run with the game close in the fourth. The Raptors went up eight by the end of his bender and never trailed again. Jakob Poeltl posted eight points, six rebounds, a steal and three blocks, Delon Wright scored 10 points with four dimes, a steal and a three and Fred VanVleet scored 15 with four assists, two steals and three triples. Just another day for the Raptors bench who erased an early deficit and then snatched a close game from Brooklyn’s clutches in the fourth.
