Rookie Cam Johnson has been scrimmaging with the first unit while Kelly Oubre Jr. (right hand) and Mikal Bridges (knee) limited.
Head coach Monty Williams was impressed with what he saw, praising the rookie for not differing and looking to get his own shot. The path to Johnson's productivity as an NBA player will be his ability to light it up from the outside, so these are positive strides to kick off his proffessional career. The injuries to Oubre Jr. and Bridges are both described as 'discomfort', so it's likely neither are out for long. As long as those two are healthy, Johnson has no path to fantasy value. However, if any time opens up for him he should be a steady source for 3-pointers.
